  2. Everything you see is a hallucination. You hallucinate the world around you. Not that it's not there, it is, but that's how your brain turns sensory input into perception. Hallucinations caused by drugs just changes the amount of sensory input pht through the process. Serotonin receptors get activated by tryptophan based drugs in the hypocampus which allows more sensory input into the parts of the brain that process the information and create the world as we perceive it.
