Variation #2- Add a flower box. A really cool idea to either find or build a proportionally sized flower box below your mirrored window. You can purchase one inexpensively from your local home improvement store or build one from some new wood (with a paint job of your choice). 1×6 redwood or cedar fence boards (under $2 per 6′ board) work great plus their rough surfaces are better with the old patina of your window mirror. Mount your window box under the window mirror (with or without) the shutters and add silk flowers or green plants and you will have a bit of the outside to cheer your soul (for those of you who deal with inclement winters).

For parts that are too large to transport, some lake cumberland rentals would actually haul it for you. Examples of such parts include the hood, trunk lid or roof. Some people may decide to buy the whole junk car and scrap it themselves. Although you have to enquire about this during your first call. You want to know if this added service is free or if you have to pay for the haulage. It is best to compare costs across different junkyards in order to make an informed decision. However, if the purpose is to save the most money possible then the best place to buy used auto parts is a junk yard.

Have on hand 6 good quality and straight 2×4’s – 8′ long on hand. They can be purchased for about $2.00 each at your home improvement store. You will also need a drill with a #2 phillips head and one box of 2 1/2″ course thread dry wall screws. Finally find some old 1 x lumber from your old material resource or you can use new 1×6 fence board of redwood or cedar purchased for about $2.00 per 6′ board at your home improvement store. You will need 4 pieces of 1×6 – 6′ long.
