Managing A Narcissist | Ann Barnes | TEDxCollingwood
Narcissists are on the rise, especially in the workforce. While the research is still out on why this is happening; Ann Barnes outlines the different kinds of …
Narcissists make their closest people feel suicidal.
Sadly some of these people actually committed suicide.
If you get to that level take the narcissist with you. God wills it! Since narcissists are not real people who would care.
But if you have the strength, plan, muster your strength and finances and disappear into the night. It will be painful but the freedom is amazing and life eventually becomes extremely enjoyable. Write down the qualities the narcissist most liked and do the opposite every single day especially the actions that solidify your independence – useful skills, building up useful contacts, increasing your own resources, mastering self control, strengthening your body and being forceful in saying NO!
Quintessential narcissist = trump
We are all gods children don’t forget with this form of diagnosis programming some call psychology!!!!

Dont watch this. She has no idea what shes talking about. Narcs will destroy you.
This is the most boring Ted talk I've ever watched. I live with a narcissist and I still couldn't watch this whole thing
I don't think Narcissists are necessarily bad people, but are invariably self centered. Not too good at seeing another's perspective, which caters that.
I seem to know a couple Garden Varieties.
What about when the management are narcs? Good luck with that.
I'm going to physically hurt a narc. I know of no better method to get a message across to a narc without misunderstanding…
I love it when people who have literally no credentials to talk about mental health set themselves up as experts in Ted Talks. This woman gets a lot wrong; please seek out actual mental health experts.
Working for a County office for over 20 years, this women speaking makes a lot of sense. Different personalities are motivated differently and knowing a bit about people, your productivity can be optimized and people can get along better if placed with the right coworkers. My experience, theres always one female in the group that think shes the team leader when there isn't one, one insecure busy body and lots of gossip with mostly insecure women. I tried to stay away from them myself and if I had to deal with one of these irritating women too much, I set her straight.
There are more because more parents were
My stepdad was a true NPD. Ever since each relationship I have had have these traits Oh and my stepdad was abusive in every way, though he will never admit to it. Just like my current bf my stepdad would say something and then deny he said it a minute later. The only way I could have caught him was by recording but I didn't realize that until older. Now I feel like I have to do this all over again and my life force is just drained and I barely have the energy to go to the bathroom
I have to deal with Them. I am an Empathic person. It's like I'm surrounded by Demons. Excellent Video !
spoken like a true boomer. i must admit i'm disappointed at how shallow she handled the subject.
Not worth the headache. Just replace w a semi- balanced person.
You can't manage the unmanageable. Having someone with NPD in an office setting is like putting a wrecking ball in a china shop!!! You obviously have no experience being around these people. Dr. Sam Vaknin has some brilliant YT videos on the subject, but even he knows you can't "manage" these people.
How to manage a highly narcissistic person. 1. Document their behavior 2. Terminate their employment Seriously, those who are highly narcissistic don't work well with others and are a walking lawsuit waiting to happen.
Millenials are 19 years old. 19 year olds are 40% of our work force?
If you go to a psychologist for this you can be bamboezeld…….most are Narcissist too.🌼
Please make a video in which you speak directly to the Narcissists themselves, and offer your suggestions, techniques, strategies, therapies, etc., that they might utilize to heal, emiliorate, soften, diminish, de-weaponize, etc., their dysfunctional and hurtful behaviors. I thank you in advance.
The problem i had I was always on the right side of him, until I wasn't. He was perfect, until he wasn't. By this time it was too late
Not the Greek myth I've heard about ..
This lady has no idea what a REAL Narcissist is…..a little.
Wait, how are we coming up with the numbers? Narcissist don’t get help. How would you know?
You can't manage them. If you spot one, run for your life.
