An updated tour of all of my houseplants. I tried to show you everything in exactly the condition it’s in. I hope you enjoy! The artist I purchased the propagation …
Hi I’m your new subscribers I’ll love all your plants
Your hoya curtsii is so adorbs!! I'm gonna have to get me one. Thank for the inspiration!!
I think the rex begonias might have a tendency to lose their leaves but they are actually still alive. I’ve thrown away so many but now I put my struggling ones under a cloche and make sure they get plenty of indirect bright light. They are a pain but so beautiful I just keep trying!
The "reasonably good" begonia is begonia fedor, its definitely one of the easier of the rex. Try your hand at some rizomatous or shrub like begonias, they are much easier than rex.
Honestly when I had a clipping of my begonia Rex, it was happier propagating in water. How much are you asking for a monstera clipping (small one)? How long did your orchid take to adapt when you transferred it to hydro? I got some clearance orchid I did the same. That’s how I feel, I don’t want a struggle.☺️
Hi Sara, beautiful plants, and yes we all have a few that struggle that is real life and plant parenthood. Since it is winter there a few that are struggling, maybe not as much as they did last winter but then I have some grow lights for them and they seem to be a bit happier. I have a Stromanthe Trio Star that loves where it is sitting and hasn't put out any brown tips in a long time, I do have my Calathea section that seems to be doing pretty good this winter. I am looking forward to your part two, these kinds of videos I always enjoy. Have a great weekend and I will see you soon.
Lovely plants. Can't wait to see more.
I struggled with Rex Begonias at first too! Game changer for me was bottom watering…mine absolutely hate water on their leaves. And don't let them dry out. I wait till water meter reads 4 and then let them butt chug. Worked for me!
Do you use city water or distilled water on your plants? Thank you for the tour you have some really nice plants.
Cool houseplant tour, can't wait for the part 2 🙂
I got rid of all my macrame hangers because I hated having to go up and down the step stool to take them to the sink to water them.
I also know a bit of French! I've started watching plant videos that are in French to practice. Nothing better than something you'd be interested in in English for learning
Merci pour la belle visite! Vos plantes sont magnifiques. Belle collection d'hoyas 😍
Thanks for the tour. Did you find the site for the propagation station?
