I seriously doubt that "Mary Jane" production in this style will be around for all that long. It's an incredibley inefficient use of land, water, and electricity. We don't strip the bark off willow trees anymore to get aspirin. We make it from fossil fuel stocks. We don't kill animals anymore for insulin. We inserted the human gene for insulin into a yeast in the early 1980's and grew it in fermentation vats. We know how to make synthetic marajuana products and once the legal problems get solved it will probably go the same way as insulin. You could even grow it in corn with gene insertion. Corn or any grain crop is a C-4 plant and uses a lot less water than a C-3 plant which most plants have that photosynthetic pathway. Think how expensive aspirin would be if we were still getting it from willow. Well actually, willow species would have gone extinct long ago. I don't recommend anyone sink a lot of money into matajuana production without following the biomedical research.

There is nothing we engage in that can't be done without money. THE ONLY THING money is realistically it's own commodity. Money is realistically only good/needed for power/position/control/posturing/etc. In a fundament truth we would all life would be 'better' without money. This could be realistically and easily accomplished if not for the big "IF" without a lot of trouble. The elephant IF in the room is of course our own brains. Praise jah! ya mon! Learn how to make a corn cob pipe. For oral use, make your own Richard Simpson Oil in your own repurposed plastic bucket.
We Humans are caught between a rock and a hard place; between Evolution and The Human Condition. As Humans we are responsible/irresponsible but ultimately Evolution is to blame i.e. accountable. We Humans do the best/worst according to our limited knowledge and our human nature. If it is not good enough then we are not to blame; or to be blamed!
Our bodies are completely capable of giving us all the' highs', relaxations, ecstasies and euphorias we could want if we' tune in'. I recommend a listen in to a guy named 'Sadhguru'.
