  5. if a kid started smoking marijuana in his teen age period then various studies have shown that he will have decreased mental growth by the time he reaches adulthood, he will achieve less in his studies and his functional social growth will be stunted..heavy marijuana smokers from early age that means teens agers are more prone to develop psychosis and schizophrenia in later period of life, anxiety and panic attacks are more common in marijuana smoker but regarding this studies has shown conflucting results.. marijuana smoking is one of the getways for harder drugs.. there is a common practice of smoking marijuana with cigarette…so the risk of cancer can be similar..but it depends upon how they smoke.. marijuana is usually not addictive but there are withdrawal symptoms like low mood low self esteem anxiety… these are among few health hazards of marijuana…NOW regarding its legalization is a complicated issue..US and canada are legalizing it because various economical and political factors comes into play like being popular among young and liberal adult voters and also they might be less concerned about their citizen productivity…but if kids and young in our country started to use them in the daily basis then who the fuck is supposed to be serious about being productive..it will be a long debate about why legalizing marijuana can backfire or can bring uncertain socio economical change that our society might not be ready to grasp…there can be safeguarding measures to properly decide about the ways of legalizing marijuana but only focusing about its medicinal values will be a biased opinion

  7. We are becoming a nation of pot-heads. I don't dispute the clinical studies concluding that there are some therapeutic qualities. But having smoked "non-habit forming" marijuana for decades, I can safely say that when it is used as an intoxicant, it makes you stupid and lazy and slow. For those who contend that it enhances sensory perception or mental acuity and creativity, that sounds like a benefit, but the simple fact is that altered perception of reality is not enhancement. all these people talking about health benefits just so they can get high and smoke and not get caught. I don't want the whole city to smell like weed and since people are over exaggerating only the health benefits and barely talking anything about the bad effects, huge number of young teens will start smoking marijuana since it is so healthy and goody, not to mention all the peer pressure and when you pressure your friends into smoking marijuana you can shove all the health benefits and what not. Different minds react to different chemicals differently. just because you can smoke and function like a regular person doesn't everyone can. It is said that weed doesn't cause physiological addiction but psychological dependence is a real thing.

  8. Marijuana had been sold legally in shops until 1973. It was categorized as illegal substance around 1973 under the pressure of the Nixon government’s war on drugs policy when the US threatened to stop sending in aid to Nepal. Now the Americas realize their hippy parents where right, weed is legal there and still  illegal here in Nepal cause we didn't happy hippy parents. lol.
