I am currently constructing a dynamic page using vuejs components inside a Vue Router.
so each component is created with an on-click function that when clicked appends the component to the container. however when i attempt to append an event listener inside the component’s on-click function the listener is not functional when clicked.

So when the button in the html is clicked it successfully emits the click event but the event is not handled by the child component and rendered inside the container that can be seen when inspect element (also printed inside the component),
I am just trying to add an event listener to the event that was emitted by this.
I know how to add the listener to elements that are created programatically but they never emits an event and that is the main reason i am unable to add it to the button.
I tried adding it to the click handler but nothing happens.

I don’t think you can do that. When you click the button, the div in the template is created, but then rendered out immediately. So, for example, if you did add it inside the button
