“Their behaviour has become unsafe,” says a spokesman. “They have been aware of our concerns and they have been out and about.”

The entire area where the work is being done has been completely evacuated and the site is cordoned off.

The area is expected to reopen in the next few days once work is completed and the site has been prepared for families to return.
