  1. Feeling disheartened… been doing the 20/4 fast every day for 10 days now and haven't lost anything. I've watched a few of ur videos and feel like I have followed all the guidelines but still no success 😕. Maybe this just doesn't suit my body type?

  2. Thomas…very interesting video as I'm over 50. Question about artichokes…can they be canned or in glass jars ready to eat? Cooking them takes quite some time but I'm sure how you feel about "prepared" foods. Also, back in the day, artichokes were considered bad for my blood type. Is that all rubbish or true? Thanks and keep up the great content.

  3. I started fasting 16-18 daily and 20-21 hours twice a week. It has left me tired and light headed. I do put Himalayan salt in my water. Any other suggestions?

  4. Come on, there's really no difference–as it relates to fasting–between 30 and 40. I'm in better shape at 56 than I was at 40 and would have never been able to intermittent fast as easily at that age as I can now. As far as bone density, vitamins etc, makes no difference imo. Maybe in your 70s, maybe.

  5. Great info, 42 lost 57lbs in 3months, keto and IF. I did pure protein diet for 4days since I pretty sure I m fat adapted, but my energy level was completely out of the window. Will try to do the normal eating for wk, my bf on belly just not moving, so hopefully I can break it

  6. Thomas, you mentioned water, black coffee, etc. as things you can consume while fasting (which I do) but what about the video where you made the water mixture with ACV, pink sea salt, lime juice, and cream of tarter to drink during a fast? I've been doing that almost since you created that video and I've actually grown to like the taste. Plus, it makes me feel full and helps me get through those periods during fasting where my hunger is really difficult to manage. The ACV water seems to help me get through those periods a little easier. Is this no longer something I should be doing at age 57?

  7. To much scientific jargon I think eat normal one day and fast the next no metabolic slow down and still have the calorie restriction but when you do eat make it healthy and it is ok to have some healthy carbs once a week

  8. I'm new to the keto way of life just starting out , I'm 68 and 240lbs there is so much to learn for this old guy, it seems so confusing as there is not only the way you change your eating habits but all the info that's being thrown at you and all the different things you need to do in order to lose weight , your not only changing your eating habits but your shopping for groceries and way of life , I'm not use to fasting it just wasn't in my life and that with my bad eating habits are why I'm changing to the way I'm eating now, all the terms and different additives used in the keto diet are confusing a simple game plan put in front of me would be easier .
