How come no one brought up the need for a citizen-run oversight committee to monitor the politicians that are scrambling to figure out how to steal every available cent that they can based on this new drug opportunity/industry? 5 to 10 years and one million dollar fine for any elected official profiting in any financial way from this new politically regulated marijuana industry. Why do you think they want only 75 licences granted? Because it's easier to extort contributions from 75 carefully hand-selected dealers than it is to extort from a thousand mom and pop shops that are not beholding to some politician.
