We, who live in these communities, weren't surprised when the protest erupted.. MSM were surprised since they live up in their ivory towers.. The police act and dressed up like they are in a war zone.. everyone is a potential enemy.. they are not acting like protectors of the community.. i never ever been arrested.. but since im dark skinned.. every time i go for a walk.. cops are always following. I got surrounded by 10 cops when i happened to past an area they were monitoring… i didn't stop to talk to anyone.. i was just walking home..

In Canada, if you want to be RCMP office, one must earn a university degree in criminology, write a challenging exam for training school- which is 1 year long- then write another test, as well as undergo psychological testing, before you are allowed to become an office and protect communities. This is why we are safe

I still say disbanding police departments is the only way to stop cops from shooting someone. There will always be a tiny number of bad cops that get hired. There will always be mistakes made and poor judgement used even by the best trained cops. And there will always be a high number of justified shootings by cops (like in the Michael Brown case). So the only way to to end it is to disband police departments and give the citizens more rights and more power to protect themselves

I don't understand this I was in the Union we asked for a whole bunch of s*** some of it was crazy and the company said no so we wind up working without a contract for about a year why don't the city say no so the city government is complicit and what the are doing so the city is just as guilty as the unions just tell them know we're not going to sign this contract now if you don't like it then you don't get a contract
