Great insights on the current situation. It is so true that black people have been conditioned to think of ourselves as victims. And this victim mentality is passed down from generation to generation, without realizing that we are creating the reality of victimhood with our thoughts and beliefs. As it says in the Bible, Matthew 18:20 – "For where 2 or 3 are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." This tells me that black people collectively create the reality of discrimination and injustice by being in agreement with it. And traditional religion enforces our collective victim mentality by having us believe in a god outside of us and a white savior who's supposed to come back some day to save us.
