Buyers make/made lots of promises to farmers growing season 2019. This encouraged mass hemp farming with combines. I think there are two markets, Hand cut, hand trimmed vs machine processed flower. What about insurance on our crops and products to protect the farmers and consumers? I am thinking of growing in a hoop house to keep the CBD plant clean?

Anyone who thought you would get 60k a acre , was mis informed, We looked into it when the law changed. We came to the conclusion that 4-5k a acre was what you could get. So we stayed with soy. If you could get back that kind of numbers, most if not all farmers would be growing it. As far as the smoke market, the price is starting to come down, the price will stable off. Yes there's going to be some big companies getting into the field. But like Kraft Beer there's always room for the people who grow great plants Remember this is a good problem for us to have.
HAVE A SUMMIT MEETING WITH THE OTHER HEMP FARMERS AND SEE IF YOU CAN GET A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THE USDA/DEA AND GET YOUR INTERESTS ACHIEVED THAT WAY OR… YOU INDIVIDUALLY OR COLLECTIVELY SEE IF YOU CAN GET A LOAN OR MORTGAGE ON YOUR HOMESTEADS SO IT WON'T HURT FINANCIALLY AND POOL THAT MONEY AND GET THE AFOREMENTIONED ISLAND OR… MOVE TO A STATE WHERE THEY DON'T HINDER YOU THE WAY VIRGINIA DOES…MAYBE NEVADA, OREGON… SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
