I have a belly ring hole/ scar that is about 15 yrs old. I hate it and its scar tissue behind it.

My mom took me for my birthday at 15 and I had 3 piercings done to shape a star on my belly button. The sides closed but are scarred. I kept my other opened with a 20g just in case I wanna put something in later.
I got my belly button pierced on 23th November 2019 I was 11 I’m still 11

Wow people are worried about a scar with a story behind it you shouldnt be worried about a tiny hole at that age in life! Easy solution listen to piercers when they ask are you sure you want this it's just a phase in growing up…

literally i pierced mine about 3 years ago ( i was 13) and i was pretty dumb, i literally just took out my piercing and i want it to close so i can get it done professionally.. im scared if i cant because having a belly ring gives me so much more confidence in my stomach that might sound dumb but

Do you have any videos/ info re "taking out the tract" if your piercing is healed all the way through and won't close on its own? Is that dangerous/ painful? Are you more likely to get an infection by leaving the hole without jewelry vs closing the hole? This is fascinating!

Plastic surgeons aren’t the only ones who do this! I have seen a lot of body mod/piercers themselves fix piercing scars. Probably ALOT cheaper.
One of my ear piercings stretched out when I was younger (I slept with earrings and they went through the hole!) If I were to get this done would I be able to re-pierce that area?

I keep getting lint in the little hole. Maybe once a year I stick something through the hold to get the lint out. It’s just a tad gross. I’ve had it out for 10 years. I was 15 & my mom took me after my cousin & best friend got it done. If I realized the home wouldn’t fully close I’d just left in the ring. The only one that sees it is my husband.
