I must educate the masses. So many misconceptions about homeschooling.
“How do you make friends?” Same as you. See someone and talk to them.
“Do you socialize?” I’m talking to you, aren’t I? Of course I socialize. I have friends my age that I know in real life that I’ve met through homeschooling. I have friends older than me that mentor me. It’s really beneficial to talk to other people other than children your own age. The blind can’t lead the blind.
“You must be sheltered…” honey, have you seen the trash on the Internet? Do you know the things I’ve encountered in real life and online?
“Do you have a prom?” Too many.
“Your parents don’t know everything that you need to learn.” My parents aren’t the only ones teaching me. I have other teachers too. Some that were strangers before I was their student. Co-ops are wonderful things.
“You can’t take advance courses.” Oh? My friends have graduated high school with an Associates degree.

My school is a horrible place the teachers won’t let me use the bathroom and I have to hold it all day and I cant drink any water and if we talk we might get thrown out in the cold and I’m so scared I really want to be homeschooled but my parents won’t do it because they’re scared they’ll have to socialize with other parents. Can anyone give me any help or new ways to persuade them to homeschool me? If you can’t reply at least like so someone can see this and help me. Please and thank you.

I wanna stop faking my perfection. I wanna genuinely learn something… I usually stress myself out just to pass the exam, THEN I forget everything immediately after. Sometimes I have to CHEAT just to keep my RePuTaTiOn.
This is….. not accurate. I’m a 2nd generation homeschooler and you don’t have to be “talented.” There are tons. Of. Resources. essentially the parents often end up managing their student’s collection of tutors and online classes.
I hate the fact that i live in a country where homeschooling is illegal
7:23 Couldn't be further from the truth. There are literally thousands of homeschool curricula available precisely because parents can't be expected to be experts in every field. Bob Jones Homeschool, for example, provides video lessons for each subject taught by certified educators or professionals in the field. Plus, there are so many online resources, books, workbooks, etc. available. Also, they don't have to be knowledgable about all those sports. If your kid even wants to play sports (none of my siblings did) there are co-ops in most cities that facilitate team sports for homeschoolers.
I recommend online public school you can get common core classes and other benefits
And home school you have to do the all day learning when their is a event their will be no
I like normal school because in normal school when there ' is a storm and their is no classes

High school teaches you important social skills. Some public schools are great. Also, the people you are around are freaks. Homeschoolers have asked me to sell my body parts on the side of the road. Talk about bad influences. public schools are OK with a strange reputation.
I absolutely got bullied while homeschooling.

There are few benefits to home-school and many cons. In elementary school it might be okay, but in 6-12. academics are only one thing and, I like being involved in school activities and sports, I like being in a classroom environment, I like having things to do, I hate being at my house all the time, I hate not seeing my friends, at home I am lazy, disinterested, and distracted, also high school teaches you important social skills, I feel like homeschooling should be restricted, also kids need exposure to the outside world so they can be prepared for the world when they grow up, and school is the best representation of society and it is in the best interest for people to be in that setting, I feel insecure that I was home-schooled, at least I will not be in high school.

I've learnt how to draw and it was no thanks to my useless school, I had to teach myself because they rather I paint someone else painting for art instead of actually learning how to draw characters.

I was around growing in public school,and this made it hard for me to learn. Narcissist family and bullying out the family. This caused learning problems for me.
Kids in Narcissist family has more hard time learning. Mostly.
What about situations like this?
Public schools cram and cram. People can not learn like this.
Most kid is only as smart as their parents.
Being homeschooled doesn't mean you can't go to basketball, tennis, art classes or any meet ups with other piers. You will still do this but you don't have to be stuck in class with them
So happy that we started as parents homeschooling our child. We get to know what his learning strengths are and what we noticed is he learns faster and more focused if we integrate his lessons through play. We even started our YouTube channel on his lessons through play.
Should talk about more of the positive things about “traditional school”.
