You mentioned a liquid nitrogen fertilizer or fish, do you have a favorite type/brand that you use?
This gave some good clear instruction.
The concrete wire mesh I bought is already rusting..should i still use it? And I used rebar to stake it in to my bed..should I used the fence posts that you show? Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if rebar isn't somehow toxic.
Hi Susan I live in Spokane as well. When do you normally start to transplant your peppers. I still have my jalapenos in doors and now their starting to show small jalapeno buds forming
Did the concrete reinforcement wire come in a roll or as a flat sheet? Thank you!
@susansinthegarden I discovered Sun Gold cherry tomatoes quite by accident last year. They are INCREDIBLE. I planted 2 this year 😁
Susan, I was always taught to crumble the dirt around the roots when transplanting. What are your thoughts on that? I may have missed it but it didn’t look like you did that with the tomatoes.
Hello Susan. I'm watching from Germany. I love your channel, because you speak so clear and the videos are great 👍🏽 💕🙋🏻♀️
I'm nervous to plant still. My 10 day still has a few nights in the 40's.
Great video. Just in time. I am planting my tomatoes tomorrow 🙂
I've always envied Joe's tomato cages made from cattle panel, but your support using concrete reinforcing wire looks more "doable" for me. Bet it's a good pea trellis too. And cucumbers. And pole beans (although I still dream of using your arbor idea).
Great video Susan. Could you explain a bit on how you decided to space the plants? Thank you!
I've never seen tomato planted this way so thank you! I am new to gardening and I just started my square foot garden. Hope I didn't plant my tomatoes too closely!
I have decapitated a tomato & marigold seedling about 6 weeks ago. I felt so bad that I “planted” each of them in a little pretty pot with potting mix and said sorry again. They are both alive and thriving!!!! I love second chances ❤️
I love your garden. Great growing tips. 🍅🌱🌻💗
Uggh I wish I knew I could do that with the tops a couple days ago when I found my plants topped from the unexpected wind. I started all over!
Put seed in ground, water. Done.
Happy tip at the end! Thanks Susan, for that positive take on a sad thing.
This has helped so much, I live about an hour away just north of CdA so this was perfect for my area. I will be following you for sure.
Hi Susan, love your channel! Question for you – did you harden them off or just put them in? Thx! 🍅
