  1. Have you ever had a bad moving experience? Tell me all the juicy drama!
And what would you have done if ou were in this situation?

  2. I had the opposite experience with my last move. I was floored at how professional the guys were. They sent two guys and I was moving from a 2700 sq ft house so I really didn't think 2 guys would be enough to pack me up. They packed my entire house and loaded it on the truck in two days. They worked so incredibly fast I was so surprised. They wrapped everything to excess! It was a company paid move cross country from Texas to WA. It was 7 yrs ago and unfortunately I don't remember the name of the company, but it was definitely how a move SHOULD go! Loved hearing your story, although sorry you had such an experience!

  3. There’s no loading zone for my apartment complex which is weird because there’s no parking on the street in front of my apartment… so when I moved in we parked and just dumped my stuff off in my living room as fast as possible.

  4. Just saw your Nightmare Neighbor video and this! Girl I hope you left a bad Yelp review for the movers and the apartment company. I leave reviews on Yelp all the time. You are so kind and sweet, I couldn’t have put up with the neighbor and moving issues! Lol

  5. BBB is generally paid by the companies to obtain their ratings, so they probably wouldn't do anything. Also, always always always take pictures so that you can document everything for if a civil case has to be filed

  6. I moved from Virginia to Florida and hired a company to take my big stuff (couch, bed, tables, big boxes) and they HELD MY FURNITURE FOR RANSOM!!! I didn’t have furniture for over a month and we had no idea where it was! We ended up having to pay an extra $500 to get my stuff! And then a ton of my stuff was broken and dirty! They also tried to offer me other peoples furniture while moving my stuff in!!! Ugh.

  7. hey you know how they say 'two outta three ain't bad" lol i stumbled on your channel i think cause of the dog, been binge watching a bit, sounds like a frustrating day but honestly was laughing a bit. sounded more like a episode on Mr Bean!

  8. I know this was a horrible experience for you, but the way you told the story I laughed until I cried. Just picturing that mattress going up and down in the elevator well…LOL

  9. Moving. Is considered heavily on the Scale. It's considered second to a death in the family. Sorry. I've done it multiple times and I am an interior designer and interior architect. You are on your starter kit. Here, La Donna.

  10. I don’t have a terrible moving story, every move I’ve experienced has been stressful in some way. However, on our last move, my husband’s nice $300 watch went “missing”. I guess my fault for not putting it in a lock box or something….anyway….put in a claim and it was refused because the watch wasn’t specifically listed in the paperwork (even though I still had the EMPTY box that the watch was purchased and stored in – the kind with the nice pillow thing inside). My AirPods were also “missing” and that claim was denied as well. I can’t tell you the company name because it was the same situation where the paperwork listed one company, but the boxes had a different company name, and their t-shirts had yet another different name. They also at one point had about 15 people in my house unnecessarily, so I assume with all the commontion that’s when my things grew legs and walked off.

  11. I've only ever moved myself, but what a nightmare! It's literally so easy to just put the mattress inside the bedroom?? Why would they leave it in the elevator? I don't get it.

  12. Your so funny. We know your joking of the doggy. Thieves. etc. So unprofessional. I would get tv news channel consumer on your side help. They have one here in Tampa. Always check reviews and references. That is why they had different names. The poor guys that work there. The reps awful. Research or rent uhaul much cheaper gets friends to move you it will be on time. I don't move to upper floor elevato. I only move to ground floor.

  13. The ex military part pisses me off the most. We are known for our ability to stay calm and composed in the WORST situations. Thats what we do.

  14. you should file a case with small claims, it is for up to $10,000. you should have a good chance of getting something out of them even four months later.

  15. OMG how awful!! If anything the third person should have brought the boxes and then stayed to help.

  16. Yeah, this is why I'm so glad I have a truck and a horse trailer. I've done all my moves myself, literally by myself in most cases. Including moving my own heavy furniture on my own, without even a friend or family member to help me. And honestly, the idea of spending money on people that are just going to mess up your stuff and do a terrible job makes me sick. Hell, if worse comes to worse, we have workers that stand around the home Depot parking lots around here that will happily move your stuff for you and probably do a better job. And probably for less money.
