  1. Got bored third of the way through, skipped to the end few minutes, all I can say is that, try looking at your soul … if you have one, instead of what your wearing next time you look in a mirror… which I'm guessing is a common occurrence , and maybe you will see the truth behind the illusion ..

  2. Wilsdorf did not supply free watches to allied prisoners of war in the European theatre. From 1943 he supplied them to captured officers only and they were supposed to pay for them at the end of the war; they were not free.

  3. My sister got me a Rolex years ago that I never wore. In France I bought a Tissot for much less made the same. I had the classic Rolls unfortunately the clothes that I wore were also classics from twenty years ago. 😂

  4. If I know you, I think a 34mm Oyster Perpetual 114200 with a white, black or red grape (purple) dial is you. Simple, pure understated elegance & the closest iteration to the 1933 bubble-back. The most classic, versatile & easy to wear piece the marque offers.

  5. For me personally, I see Rolex as a milestone meter. Right now I'm grinding away studying engineering while working part time. Ive got my eyes on a Datejust solid gold with Diamond inserts as a gift for myself when I finish my degree. Everyones different I suppose but for me it will signifying putting my entire soul into finishing something I started.

  6. My fave watch is my Ocean Crawler with both an orange rubber strap and a classy leather one included.

Indeed, a nice Grand Seiko is another. Maybe not dress, but I'll wear mine in more formal attire.

  7. Could listen to this guy all day long such a smooth, relaxed, comfortable sounding voice. My vote goes to the ROLEX SUBMARINER DATEJUST.

  8. The Date was originally men’s, as men’s watches were mostly small back then. They have been as small as 30mm. Traditionally, women wore 29mm or smaller. That said, because of the grand of everyone wearing bigger watches later, the Date has been recently (2000s) marketed more for women. I have a vintage DateJust that has belonged to my grandfather, a Date from my birth year my father bought when I was born, a no date Submariner, an Explorer I (older 36mm), and a GMT Master II with the older thinner lugs. I love all of them, and I don’t wear any other brand.

  9. Could you tell me please approximately the retail price around the year 1980 of a Rolex GMT 1675? I just don't find any price chart with that information. Thank you !!!!

  10. I was kind of scared when I read the video title. Just another men's fashion channel trying to talk watches. We all know how that turned out when Alpha M. tried to tell the world that Vincero is better than Rolex. But you actually give some legit information here. Good job. 😉

  11. Emotionally prepared…lol. (HINT) If you have to get yourself emotionally prepared to buy a watch you probably should not be buying it. Warren Buffett wears a Rolex and if I had his money, what the heck.. I might too. I do not ever plan on owning a Rolex.

  12. The watch itself is not worth that anywhere close to $10k. Similar watches only cost a few hundred bucks. You are mainly paying for the brand and exclusivity.

  13. haha rolex is the worst watch ever, its like, hey i have no style and i want to show off that my non exsisting taste can be expensive. FFS just buy a patek philippe or something.

  14. Uh, Mr. Men's Style? Your suit needs pressed something fierce, your tie is crooked and decidely "unstylish" in color for the suit and I think a French-cut shirt and cufflinks would work a little better with your "luxury watch".

And if think pilots need to know the time in multiple time zones at once but aren't smart enough to do the basic math and that "GMT" is anything but a gimmick you are definitely buying the "marketing". In an aircraft the time is always "Lima" for the aircrew.

  15. Ummmm, I think your channel is great, but you are so off on this topic. Stick to your strengths and leave other topics, like watches, to others. Best, JFJ

  16. The only modern Rolex watch i ever liked the look of is the Daydate in Gold, or President as many people like to call it. I dont know if i watched too much Miami Vice back then, but i like it.
Vintage is a whole different story. I just love small square shaped watches, as they are comfortable to wear and easily disappear under a shirt cuff. Especially so called "Doctors-Watches" with a seperate hand for the second are my thing. Thus for vintage it is the rolex prince, although many great manufacturers made that style.
