Why would such a likeable person like Jim Hood lose an election? People will not vote for him for the same reason I did not. I met him once, listened to him speak and have a lot of respect for him but he has one flaw. He is associated with the democratic party. The democratic party in the majority of peoples minds has become the anti-American party. When you say democrat people think about screaming mobs, ANTIFA, anti-law enforcement, open borders, lies, deceit, sedition, treason, communists the list goes on.
