  1. Jack Black is so likable I enjoyed the movie… then really thought about the situation and that guy is trash for killing an old lady like shoving her aside and leaving wasn't an easy option.

  2. That lady drove him crazy? Then quit hanging out with her!!! Bernie wasn't her slave. Tell her you don't like what she's doing and stay away! You can't shoot people!!! If you do, you will go to prison. Damn!!!

  3. 39:24 If it's not Adreenochrome, "than what-is-it?"
Shirley was 32 when Jack was born. Her legs look
younger than his! I challenge anyone to state how it's
possible "for an 86 year-old woman's legs could look like that?"

  4. 39:24 There's sum-kind-a photo trickery going on here! Any 35-year-old man would go to great lengths chasing after a set of legs like the pair on that lawn-chair, "regardless of the woman's age!" And, if those really are Shirly McClaine's legs I sure-as-heck-wanna-know, "What kind of Vodo made it possible?"

  5. Is it bad that i watched the episode of Southern Fried Homicide this story is based off of and went looking for the movie they made about it? All in all, tragic story, great movie.

  6. First, I don't know if this is actually an accurate representation of what happened, especially given Leftist/Hollywood's penchant to utterly ignore facts to get bad people off (such as "Atheism is Unstoppable" has documented several cases on his YouTube channel), but IF it's true, some thoughts. 1. I find it odd the police can actually "take" stuff that people now own, simply because that was done with ill-gotten resources. That shouldn't be able to happen. Those were transactions… It would be like trying to take back, or to even give back any other "type" of transaction, that simply doesn't happen.
    2. Wow, that "defense" was TERRIBLE… They could have easily argued a "battered spouse" type of defense, as well presenting evidence that "he" wasn't gaining anything "personally" from the money like they showed from the house and car he had, and that he gave everything away (though the plane is a wrench in that?). As well, it seems clear they could have had townsfolk testify both to his character, as well to how she was abusive to him.
So, I'm confused… The way they present it we should be sympathetic to him, but there might be missing info that in fact we shouldn't be.

  7. I loved this movie. ❤️ Jack did a really good job in forming Bernie’s character, and it was cool to see him in a different light besides comedy. Very well-done, along with his singing which was beautiful. Would definitely watch again! 🎥
