Who cares about it going to waste so if someone gives me dog meat as a gift I should eat it because omg can't lat that dead murder corpse go to waste right what does not lating something go to waste has to do with being vegan it's a cruelty free life where you opposed to animal abuse of any can and that would undeniably mean not eating or drinking bee vomit under any circumstance SERIOUSLY speaking do you know the pain and cruelty that goes in to honey farming
really lisa. you didn't have to put ONE daikon in a plastic bag. you could have just rung it up bare. i grab veg like cucumbers in bunches of 2-3 without bags all the time the cashiers never give me a hard time.
This store looks amazing! I'm such a dork who loves grocery shopping and i truly miss the amazing asian market I used to have near me. It was HUGE and they had everything. There's another one, but it's so small and their stock is so limited. For sad.
I love your hoodie! (Do they have men's as well?) Wow, the amount of shrooms! I actually had to cut down on mushrooms (and kombucha) after I found that certain types of fungi can trigger my eczema. Boo-hoo! I love shopping at Asian grocery stores, and I usually make it a point to stick to my list but sometimes I can't help myself and come home with extra snacks, hahaha.
You're ruining the image of Asian markets I hold in my head … all the ones here in Halifax are very tiny and crowded with stuff floor to ceiling. Aisles narrow enough that you have to stand sideways to bend over for stuff on the bottom shelf. No passing people with carts/baskets that's for sure. I still love them though.

I love Woodlot and I remember that mushroom dish you're talking about! I live in Hamilton too and I wish we had more omni resto's like Woodlot here. Maybe some day!

I've been dealing with some fallout from COVID-19 at work and had a horrible medical procedure today. Thank you for a visit to normal land. It gave me lift!
Arizona green tea is like crack to me! Idk if i could give it up, i need to be convinced to give up honey lol
Wish we had Produce like that. That store is huge. If I bought that much here of produce. The price would be double. To me that is cheap for all of that.
I've been craving hot pot 4EVER. IT'S BEEN TOO LONG. I've had it once vegan at a place near my University before I graduated. I cannot wait until your vid because I want to make it since it's so comforting!!

First: There is always room for noodles in MY tummy 😋 Second: So jealous of the HUGE Asian grocery, and I've never seen the baskets that are pulled with a long handle-I always put too much in my basket and it gets soooo heavy. And Third: I can't wait for the Hot Pot recipe video! Thanx for sharing your fun shopping day. (And thanks to Janelle for filming-great job!)
You can buy lemongrass in the frozen section of Nations. It’s way less work than the fresh lemongrass and the flavour is the same.

So….first off, my birthday was March 8th (YAY!) and that's why y'all had fun that day…just saying (LOL!! Kidding, of course) Anyway, I am really tired because I thought I heard you say "PUPPY" tofu…WTH? Then I listened again and was like…OH….Puffy ….that makes more sense. HAHA!! Thanks for sharing this video because not only are your videos awesome but this one in particular took my mind off of everything going on in the world right now. Y'all keep safe & healthy up there. I'm pretty damn envious of the size of that Asian grocery, the one near me is about half the size of that produce section!! Also, the mixed pack of mochi!!!!! Here we only have the single flavour packs!
Shout out to the time I learned I was allergic to tamarind 😅 had a tamarind soda and my mouth turned super red and itchy LOL
This was so nice! Thank you for normal content while we’re all trapped inside in isolation. It’s soothing to see, even in the past, less panicked times.
