100s of thousands of people in Illinois have been driving with THC in their system since the 1970s, why the big crackdown now that it's finally legalized??
Marijuana makes people drive slow and alcohol makes people drive fast… Also people "under the influence" of marijuana are more cautious so this is plain rediculous to me.

Besides, every police officer says society will be better off with legal weed. 25% of cop time that is spent on weed can be used to go after other crimes. Gangs get most of their revenue from illegal weed.
So, the ONLY person who is against weed is… the police chief. Why him/her??? Don't they even talk to their staff???
They pick the absolute worst case scenario possible to use as the standard. I can’t believe they don’t realize people already do this. Lol so silly.
I feel sorry for the loss of a family but it was not marijuana's fault people blow stop signs all the time being high doesn't make that decision for you
I been a "drugged driver" my whole life. I'm sure he was on his phone and driving. This is so stupid. Marijuana doesn't even have the same effect.
A urine test will not tell you if somebody is impaired just that they have used it in the last 30-45 days… with a blood or saliva test you can't test impairment just recent use… It will be interesting to see how this is abused by law enforcement…
