  1. It's in our hands now.

Tonight YOUR Legislature voted to put an alternative amendment on the ballot this November in order to intentionally confuse voters and prevent a medical marijuana program from helping thousands of qualified patients in Mississippi.

With their Legislative power, YOUR Senators said to those patients, "we don't care about you."

But we aren't going to let them win.

Our initiative will be on the ballot this November as Initiative 65. Tonight, the Legislature approved an alternative amendment that will appear on the ballot next to ours as Initiative 65A. The purpose of this is to split the vote so that neither wins. It's corrupt and it's wrong.

But the battle is far from over.

We promise to you that we are going to spend the next 8 months fighting for YOU. More than 228,000 Mississippians signed petitions to put a medical marijuana program in place for patients with qualified, debilitating medical conditions, and we will continue to be your voice.

We are disappointed in the Legislature, but not surprised. This is now the legislature vs. the people. We have to come together and share our message with Mississippi to help people understand how life-changing this medical marijuana program could be for qualified patients who are suffering.

    So what can you do?

Make sure you're following us on social media. Over the next 8 months, that's where we will be sharing a stream of information. Please share it with your friends as well

  2. the 2nd vote will mess up the first and both this is a statement backed by the First Amendment of free press

The First Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition. It forbids Congress from both promoting one religion over others and also restricting an individual’s religious practices. It guarantees freedom of expression by prohibiting Congress from restricting the press or the rights of individuals to speak freely. It also guarantees the right of citizens to assemble peaceably and to petition their government.
