I want clean potent cannabis and want the conervative party to get out of my life already ! They are the ones trying to kill this bill . My body is belongs to me and not the old farts in Ottawa . Also schizophrenia has not increased with increased cannabis consumption . Canadians smoke much more pot now and we would have been hearing schizophrenia being diagnosed more but it has not !
In 40 years of smoking/vaping pot it strikes me as odd that this whole psychotic/ schizophrenia debate was never heard of until legalization surfaced. Even the Nancy Reagan years failed to produce this attack. Big Pharma are scared of Cannabis and I do believe the odd bout of paranoia in new smokers has been amplified into neat boxes of mental disorders. Maybe those with a genetic predisposition that consume cannabis might be more at risk but what about alcohol or opioids in relation to these disorders? Cannabis research has been going on for years behind the scenes since substance has been illegal to possess. If this sort of fear mongering had any basis I do believe we would have heard about this mainstream decades ago. Seems with fake legalization the Government are trying to create more stigma and hysteria around this peaceful plant. They are not creating an industry but trying to monopolize on an existing one while taking down the competition. Also Government sanctioned LP Cannabis will have a very low THC level compared to the Connoisseur Bud available on the free market now. The fact that some of these studies target HIGH LEVEL THC bud is another jab at the 6B$$ existing free market.
