  2. Should core vaccines be given to dogs with a history of mast cell tumors? My 10-year-old dog is due for the 3-year rabies vaccine (she's 5-months cancer-free). Integrative vet says do not give it to her EVER again. Primary care vet/oncologist says give the vaccine; titers aren't effective for rabies. (We're in Massachusetts.)

  3. Mam i want to show you my dog photo. He also suffer from mast cell tumour. Please mam tell me what to do now. We not want to do his operation like surgery it is full of risk. His age is 12 years. Please reply Mam.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

  4. My dog Thor, (9 year old American Bulldog) was just diagnosed with a mast cell tumor on his abdomen. My vet is recommending a surgeon because of the location (it’s a few inches in front of his penis). However, the last few days I’m beginning to feel another lump develop quickly on his right rib cage. In your 1st video you say that most dogs will develop another tumor fairly quickly. I am very concerned about this and I’m a bit worried as I obviously want my dog to be happy and healthy but I don’t have pet insurance and will paying out of pocket. About what is the cost of the removal procedure as I will have to work this cost into my budget? Thank you for your informative videos!

  5. Really complicated tumors. This really helped explain the treatment options well. We know some dogs who have not needed chemo after surgery but others that did get. This helps me understand why. Thanks Dr Sue!

  6. We just found out our dog has grade II mast cell tumor on his foot at the end of last month. We have an appointment with an oncologist this week. This video has been very helpful! Thank you

  7. Thank you for posting this video! My 10 year old pit/lab mix had a Mast Cell Tumor removed yesterday. The tumor grew to about golf ball sized over less than 2 weeks. Does the rapid growth of the tumor indicate that this could possibly be a more aggressive mast cell tumor? If the this ends up being a type 2 or 3 mast cell tumor where chemo is recommended, are there any other treatment options available for families that can't afford the treatment costs associated with chemotherapy? Thank you.

  8. Thank you for the very informative and accessible video. Just a quick question, do you know if KTN0158 is effective and available to treat Mast Cell Tumors? or of any other monoclonal antibody treatment? Thanks Jason

  9. Thank you for making these amazing and informative videos! My Beagle has a walnut sized lump on her vulva, and it was aspirated but the results were not definitive. We are going to get a biopsy done at an oncology clinic next week. I am concerned that the area is so sensitive that surgery would not be possible. She has a heart murmur also, so multiple radiation treatments under anesthesia would probably not be possible for her either. I guess that leaves chemo. I am so worried for her. 🙁
