My shop bought soil has a pH of 7. Would you suggest watering at a pH of 6.4 to lower the overall pH level?
How about PPM? Im in week 5 of veg and my water base is about 303-330ppm but after I’ve been adding nutrients and not flushing for 4 weeks it’s about 1700 at the meter. Should I flush? (Growing in ProMix hydro)
Has anyone run at 5.2-5.3? According to this scale it's the same or better in almost every case. I'm guessing it's just to big a risk?
Hey Dale I need help what's the easiest way to grow super soil Hydroponics I'm confused?
If the soil is showing a PH of 5, should I over compensate and use say like 7.5-8 ph level of nutrients to help swing it back? Or should I just focus on getting the nutrient solution to 6.5 and keep doing that?
Great Video Man! Thank you!
Thanks for the help
So, would you pH your Coco coir to Soil or Hydro pH levels?
How low of a ph would you use for a soil grow while still in veg ? I have heard plants like a lower ph early on and a bit higher in flower for reasons you described. I have been using 6.4 and 6.8, but technically my soil is a third coco coir, so perhaps a bit lower then ? 🍻🤟😎Thanks man ✌️
nice video
hey man, im doing a coco/perlite grow with organic dry amendments in the soil. can i start using non organic nutes after the amendments play out? right now im ph-ing at 6.5 – 6.8 and not using nutes. i was thinking after about a month and a half in when the amendments are expired i could introduce synthetic nutes (i had a lot of trouble re-amending mid grow via amendment top dressing so i wanna try switching mid grow) and then start ph-ing around 6.0 – 6.5. is this feasible you think? or does a grow have to be one way or the other, that is, only organic, or only synthetic nute based.
Bro, so can i use distilled watter (demi 6-7ph)???
my water is 7. I add nutrient's & is 4. I add a little hydrated lime to bring it to 6.5 is that ok ?
Thankyou for cutting through all the stupid bullshit.
So if I grow in CoCoBop a coco ans soil combo what would be best ph in your opinion?
What nutes are in your hair bro!
So how do I know what my plants like if I use miracle grow ? Seems like they get fussy when I pH at 5.9. I heard they love it or is that more for hydro? I'm just wondering, I can't seem to get an answer anywhere
does using C02 change the required ph?
So what nutes do we need or use? An what are we looking for all solid an even line up?
Perfect. This will help allot. Keep up the good work.
glad I watched this and paid attention or I would have been using water thats 7-8…Thanks! Starting my first grow soon. Sub'd
Stupid question I have well water if I fill a gallon jug and then pour it into the soil do I need to PH the water? NO nuts added water is 7.4 and if yes wouldn't that ph down build up in soil over time??? and then possibly throw the entire ph out of wack in your soil?? been struggling with this for a while. thanks for any input.
how do you feel about the ph drops ? like from general hydroponics
These charts are off. Below 6.0 and above 7.0 in soil, cannabis can lock out many nutrients and start losing leaves due to deficiencies. 6.5 is the money number.
👍🌱enjoyed watching thank you
super helpful. thanks much!
excellent upload!
I have a question, so right now I dont have the money to buy a ph tester and ph up or down but I've seen videos on YouTube of different water bottles being ph tested, and aquafina came out being around 6.0, so my question is can I use aquafina to water my plant since I know it's are around 6.0, so that way I dont have to buy ph up or down and ph tester? Or does the ph in the water change when i mix the nutrients ?
I’ve been staying at 6.5 ph since the beginning…. great video, we need more videos like this thanks 🤘
Thanks for the awesome gear! With the cool name! 😉 Love all the School of Hard Nugs .. swag! January 1, 2020 will be here soon 🤘 Will be pushing, your name big time!! Lotta💚 your way ✌️
you know i was wondering about exactly that and was going too change my ph from the usual 6.3 and go up too 6.5. i was thinking about the uptake of the plant and what it was needing more of at this stage and i figured if i was too adjust my ph is such a way my results would improve as well…… You help confirmed it for my too give it a shot thanks fam ……..
hi dude how about a one on the different ways to ph . phosphoric acid . Citric Acid . nitric acid. you just got me thinking. peace
thanks man .peace
Does you pH vary with the life cycle of the plant? And how would you personally raise and lower your pH to the favorable range?
Great vid. Thanks man 👍🏻
Hi from France ! Thanks for the video very interesting. Have a nice day ! 👍
Thanks! Potentially confusing info, straight talk. Much appreciated!
So basically 6.66 is the perfect PH for the Devil's Lettuce.
Awsome info maybe how to test your soil ph i have a cheap probe but i have hard their not very good is there a better way without a hi cost prob
Very helpful great video brother
