  2. I would like to hear if there is any crossover between these cases and Vietnam veterans cases against Monsanto's predecessor. Does this help build any foundation for better cases against Agent Orange for surviving veterans and their families?

  3. We should stop buying Norwegian salmon who use Monsanto dioxide chemical in their fishing industries. We are get poisoned slowly.

  4. The reason why asbestos is so dangerous is because it forms nano particles so small they can pass through the pores in the cell membrane & the nuclear envelope & alter the DNA causing cancer. Common sense should tell any intelligent person that altering the DNA of your food is bound to have a negative effect on your health.

  5. Monsanto must be destroyed. But this will not happen – because the "chosen" cannot be prosecuted to the full severity of law.

  6. At about 9:23 the guest speaks of Connecticut representative Rosa DeLauro having spoken about the need to prohibit use of glyphosate as a pre-harvest dessicant. It would've been nice if that word was stated very clearly, for I first thought the guest said defecant, instead of dessicant. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desiccant Quote: " A desiccant is a hygroscopic substance that induces or sustains a state of dryness (desiccation) in its vicinity; it is the opposite of a humectant. Commonly encountered pre-packaged desiccants are solids that absorb water. … They are commonly encountered in foods to retain crispness. … " It's very sad that people were fooled into using a product as toxic as Monsanto's Roundup is; and, it's outrageous that a company that markets its products to unwitting buyers would make dangerous products without making it clear in what ways the products are dangerous when used incorrectly. Of course, it's evidently obvious that products containing carcinogenic ingredients, in this case glyphosate, surely are never safe to use. Such products shouldn't be at all made, much less marketed.

  7. This was a court decision made based largely on public opinion, from a jury of people who don't know what they're talking about, and the analyst TRNN chose to brought onto their show is both a very low-hanging fruit and a deeply-compromised source for environmental toxicology if there ever was one: she's a "research analyst" (not a researcher) who has a (relatively shallow) background in resource management and conservation as opposed to a background in science. Likewise, the EWG is a campaigning organization with substantial funding from the organic lobby which has an inherent organizational bias towards finding results they're looking for, rather than actually analyzing things like this.

I've been watching TRNN for about 7-8 years now, and I'm extremely disappointed by this story, as I have been continually disappointed by progressives/the left and by the environmentalist movement. I didn't choose to study environmental/water sciences to participate in a widespread appeal to nature fallacy or to enrich the major organic products corporations.

TRNN has been pretty consistently unscientific when it comes to scientific reporting insofar as it pertains to human health — GMOs, environmental toxicology, and so-forth. I strongly suggest TRNN find some more credible partners (or even hire staff with stronger research backgrounds) with whom they can talk about these issues. TRNN's climate reporting seems fine/good to me, so it has always been disappointing that TRNN has been so copromised/mediocre with environmental toxicology issues.

  8. There is NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE SUPPORTING THE, SUPPOSED, CANCER CAUSING PROPERTIES OF GLYPHOSATE. WATCH MYLES POWER AND HE WILL EXPLAIN THAT THE, SO CALLED, SCIENTISTS WHO DID THE RESEARCH PAPER SAYING IT CAUSES CANCER WILL NOT RELEASE ANY OF THE DATA FROM THE EXPERIMENT TO ANY OF THEIR PEERS.

  9. I live in California and I am suspect of the Prop 65 warnings. According to it I can get cancer drinking coffee and riding Amtrak. The warnings are so prevalent that even I wonder what the point of avoiding any of this is.

  10. Wasn't it President Obama's EPA as well as the Bush's that colluded with Monsanto to hide the truth? And to think that President Obama made the vice president of Monsanto the co-chairman of the FDA…if you think that horrible policies and appointments started with Trump.. think again ..Obama was horrific as a president and the principal reason we have Donald Trump…
