Science Is Everywhere with Neil deGrasse Tyson & Brian Greene | StarTalk @ BAM | Full Episode
Science really is everywhere! From the Big Bang to quantum mechanics to free will to ice skating, we explore it all featuring Neil deGrasse Tyson, Chuck Nice, …
I don't mind science and comedy, but I don't think it works in this type of long forums, especially with topics as complex, were things can fly over your head even if you're really focused so the less distractions there is the better and those comedy bits and interruptions really don't help, and I am not shitting on Chuck Nice here I think his funny and he did his job well but I don't see the added value quite the opposite. I can see adding a comedian helping if the panelists were your typical "not very eloquent" type of scientists, where a comedian can keep the audience engaged and interrupt if the conversations stray from the topic. But someone like Brian Greene and Neil deGrasse Tyson are very very good public speakers and the latter is naturally already very interrupty.
can you guys really watch this show ? they talk serious for a short while, and then have a bunch of nonsense. was this show made for elementary grade students ?
That is the best fucking rap!
Love you Neil. Your enthusiasm for knowledge is infectious.
is the brain a wave when you are not looking at it?
THE future can affect the past, according to a bizarre new theory which adds even more weirdness to the strange world of quantum mechanics. … Additionally, when two particles interact, they become entangled on a quantum, sub-atomic level and rid themselves of their individual probabilities
Her explanation about free will ignores the quantum and is incorrect
10 seconds when you are observing it
A theory known as “retrocausiality” suggests that a particle can run backwards through time to the point where it is entangled and affects its partner that way.
Free will is a fact
Well, it ain't Grandmaster Flash, but it's … pretty cool 🙂
sooo… you went looking for some feint evidence of first stars and the telescope gave you a black eye when you found it. Awesome!
