  1. thank you for this vid..it's good for researchers to keep digging..I knew it was the carts. Hope they keep digging and make that bit e crap illegal to be in anything. This research will save a lit of lives. Nicotine vape has totally gotten me off cigs..I feel s ooo much healthier! I buy only American brands , no knock offs.
    Eightvape.com and others.
Keep it safe..and healthy..cut down cancer and other lung issues from cigs. People only want to get healthier, I hope they keep it safe, and don't wreck our chances for a healthier life! 😉

  2. it's thick and passes the eye test when you look at the oil in the cart and the air bubble doesn't move and it's not runny oil that's usually one of the first things you look for when looking for a good carts and it's a thick liquid that takes longer to burn .. so at First Sight people probably think they are getting a legit cart until they start smoking it SMH

  3. I’ve been smoking thc carts daily for the past 6 months and I’m scared that I might’ve already done some irreversible damage…

  4. Bro people are cutting the wax help spread the word i sell waxs carts I know what's going it's mostly an East coast thing bc since it's illegal people tend to cut it to make more money dude warn people it's a cut they use man

  5. Hi I am a medical student and I just wanted to share some ideas. Lipoid pneumonia is a disease we learn about which you can get by accidentally aspirating (going down the wrong pipe) like cooking oil. cooking oil is fat based, and so is vitamin E. Inhaling an oil may potentially cause these respiratory problems as our lungs do not tolerate oil based material.

  6. There are soooo many variables concerning Vapes that it's too inconclusive to know what's caused it at this point. That being said I am willing to bet it is the cheap knock off vape kits and cartridges made with god knows what that are causing these sad reactions. People buy anything thinking it's okay and there is, like with most products, a lot of garbage on the market. It's not vaping that's the problem, it's what's being Vaped. PG and VG liquids as carriers, no issue. Add Vit E, a straight oil, and now we may have a serious problem. Media loves to jump on stuff and scare the shit outta people casting a blanket net on all vaping when there are so many types of liquids and cartridges and literally millions of vapers across the country using them. In comparison, it is only .002% of the entire 10.8 mil vaping community has been affected by these things and they should be looking into why that number is so low if vaping as a whole is so dangerous and life threatening.

  7. We also have Chinese knockoff carts to add into the mix. Next to one another a legit and fake cart can be tough to spot, but one could be filled with cheap electronic components which break down and who knows what kind of solder or wire they use. So many different points of attack with this issue!

  8. And the boiling point is interesting to note also, especially since if you use cannabis vapes often you will note that every so often you get that one cart which you either have to preheat, or sit on the button for what seems like too long a period to vape the liquid. The color of the smoke could be a tip off as well.

  9. A piece of this information we really need is HOW MUCH and how INTENSE were these guys/gals hitting these carts? At the normal operating temperature and 3-5 second pull, you shouldnt get a choking cloud of smoke like some people prefer, which may correlate to the lung damage. It's easy to over watt the carts and burn the chemicals, causing God knows what to happen.

  10. Watch this sad breaking news story you should play about this rising country music star that died in New Mexico crash. It’s from Entertainment Tonight. She was talking about the death of her dad & I sign he sent her right beforehand. Sounds like she’d lost most her family. Also, her latest song release is now heartbreaking with the words to her daughter.💔😭 Great video by the way. I appreciate the report. https://youtu.be/5c0VzWC0_xs

  11. Lungs have tiny hairs called cilia, oil or liquid in the lungs slow down their brush-like movement.(which controls the O2/CO2 exchange vital to all cells) This will cause them to become temporarily paralyzed and less effective at cleaning out mucus and other substances, such as dust particles, oils and liquid from the airways. It isn't a "mysterious condition." influenza and pneumonia are conditions able to be contracted just from having FLUID in your lungs. That's all it is, is vaporized liquid nicotine/ all other additives. Way worse than smoke in my opinion.

  12. Awful…I work across the street from a high school and I shit you not everyday I see at least 70 kids under the age of 16 on the side walk puffing on these stupid metal sticks. Most of those kids only do it because the vape is flavoured like candy.

  13. I am a cannabis of vape snob… Here's some info..

You have to make sure and do your research on the product to make sure it's full spectrum cannabis oil with no additives. Where I live everything gets tested before it is even put into the dispensary. Not one additive is included in the Cannabis Vape oil in Santa Cruz County.

In the very very beginning there were lots of additives including propylene glycol, glycerin and PEG. (THESE ingredients are in all e-juice) the e-cigarette Vape e-juice is not tested. Cannabis Vape oil is rigorously tested. At least in California it is. The ingredients that I have listed are only to be used in an ingestible form not smokable.

When you turn those additives in The Vape it changes the molecules.

Which are the same ingredients in non cannabis Vape cartridges they are used in ALL cigarette type Vape cartridges.

I have done at least eight years of research on this topic.

Vitamin E should not be added to cannabis cartridges. You can only use this in topical products as a PRESERVATIVE… That is what it's mainly used for. Topical ONLY!

One of the very first testing companies in California is called
SC Labs (Santa Cruz) get a hold of them and pick their brains about this. They are really nice people over there. They can explain to you the rigorous testing that is done before the product gets to The Dispensary. They can also explain to you how additives will not pass the test.

Maybe these people are buying them illegally from regular cigarette smoke shops. I will be interested to know where the purchase came from. I'd be pretty shocked if they came from a legalized dispensary for cannabis products.

Some of the regular cigarette smoke shops sell things from behind the counter that are not legal.

Did they list anywhere in the article what the brand name is of the Cannabis Vape cartridges? Because I will be really surprised if these were legally made and legally sold. Some people try to make this at their house and there's no way they can do it without adding crap to it.

  14. Eeek. I used a vape to quit smoking too…kind of sounds counterintuitive but it helped me quit for sure.
I think the vitamin e is the carrier compound/oil. Although I researched the vape oil I used, it is well known that there are many ‘fake’, and probably more dangerous, products. Sounds like it’s dangerous nonetheless.

  15. Vitamin E is used to "cut" anything oil based or dilute like you said. Things are getting tainted because of the lack of testing, etc. Etc.

  16. Pulmonary edema is VERY VERY serious. Sad how they manipulated people with packaging, convenience, etc. With zero testing zero trials. No Fda approval. I knew once i saw people hacking/coughing like they never did until starting to vape "cause it's healthier"
