Bernie supporters, mostly young, don't get it. The middle class and the upper middle class pay most of the taxes. The young college student pays very little taxes and are not supporting a family. Biden understands that. Bernie supporters DO NOT. Raising taxes across the board which Bernie proposals require does not sit well with the middle class which view themselves as already overtaxed. As a former McCarthy supporter during my years as a college student I was like Bernie supporters I refused to support Humphrey and we got 8 years of Richard Nixon – the second most dangerous President till Trump!
