  1. If you ever need help getting sugar, maybe you could get a PO Box where subscribers could send bags of sugar and you’d still keep your privacy by not putting out a street address. Our mail carriers will also forward/ deliver packages from our PO Box to our house, which is so helpful . That way we don’t have to go to the PO often. Just a thought in case it gets harder to find sugar in the coming months.

  2. Wish you would do less tour videos and instead more action videos working in the garden, ie harvesting stuff, trimming, repotting, setting up the side of the driveway.

  3. I love your vlogs, Robbie and Gary. This is such an exciting time of the year to plan the garden and decide what you are going to grow and where the best place is for them.
I would love to see you design a designated hummingbird garden space. I'm sure you could show us how to bling it out for them and, save money on sugar with flowers, birdbaths, etc.
The shaded area on the wall would be ideal for lettuces and plants that prefer a shaded area.
Finally, I'd love to see you two in the kitchen making a pizza for Gary, it would be so cute to see you two together in the kitchen. Love ya ❤.

  4. I think I have some of that thistle growing between my deck and my house…I just thought it was a really strong dandelion! I'm glad I kept it because I get a lot of finches. Loved the tour!

  5. Hi Robbie and Gary, thank your for your inspiring videos on hummingbirds and tote gardening. could you tell me if there is one particular video that you show us how to start with the totes? I am not understanding how you set up the totes. I know how to plant, I am comfortable with the small pots on top or beside plants you want to feed. Thanks again,

  6. I have no hummers yet. Except I see one from a yearly nest in tree out front.. Was 3 then 2. I have 2 feeders out front and 12 out back. Have ant guard on them. I mix 2 cups with 8 cups of hot water. Cool it. But where are the hummers? Here in 9b CA maybe they are not here. I know over the hill in 10a where you are you have a bunch already. But you did have bunches thru winter.

  7. Morning Robbie and Gary great video I have watched all three parts. The weather here in Chicago is getting warm and I am ready to plant. I ordered my seeds today and I am going to get some plants to put in the garden. I am so excited to get started. I am going to do containers also. I want to see how plants versus seeds do. Wish me luck. Keep the videos coming thankyou for all your info.

  8. Lovely video, your garden is coming along beautifully. My sprouted pole beans seeds were planted and are now coming up through the ground, I put turned over glass jars over them to make little green houses and they are doing really well. The Rufus Hummingbird has moved on and we are getting a mixture of other Hummingbirds now and we are also getting the odd Oriole, so beautiful. Stay well and safe you two, sending love.

  9. Wow…. so exciting!! I would love to grow papaya…. I'm in Iowa, zone 5…. don't know if they would grow here… although last year I did grow Moringa trees…. they got pretty big for being less than 1 year old, I just know I have to start them over every year because they can't take our cold winters. I love to see what all you are growing. Thanks for sharing!!

  10. A bigger solar panel may not change it at all because the pump motor uses a set amount of current. You could add rechargeable batteries to run it all night with the bigger panel.
