* Layers created using the New Layer button are referred to as smart layers. These layers have their own settings, such as their Layer Masks or Effects options.
* You can copy and paste (in the same document) any layer in your current document. This enables you to create layers from various images in one document. In this way, you can use the same layer in several different documents.
* New Layer, Smart Object, and Liquify options are also available when using the Magic Wand selection tool.
