okta simple has the new option for multi-page forms, which allows users to select and submit forms containing more than one page (or more than the default one page) without having to navigate away from the page. this is available in okta simple and okta advanced. multi-page forms can be configured for both signup and log in screens.
you can now add applications to a user’s okta app tab by simply dragging and dropping the application onto the okta icon. after each application is added to the tab, the app is listed in the user’s contacts. apps are visible to the user in the contant dashboard and in admin edge. apps on the app tab can be connected to users, groups, and accounts in okta or in ad.
each app has a unique url link that you can share with other users. the url link is a site link – the user will see the app listed in his or her contacts, and clicking the site link brings the user to the admin portal of the application.
the update & update service button has moved to the bottom left of the page. use the update & update service button to install new applications, update apps already installed on the okta system, or re-install a lost application.

share users with specific external organizations. a user can be shared with one or more organizations that are separated by one or more geographic boundaries. the user is moved to the organizations specified as a share users action on the ou, and the organizations are added to the user’s okta app tab.
by default, users cannot be shared with external organizations (via the share users action) by users in another okta tenant. this is now configurable via the user & user controls panel in the user & user controls resource. a single user now has the ability to share users with other users in different okta tenants.
the okta admin portal is installed by default on your okta admin site. an okta admin site is an isolated area of okta that is used by administrators to view certain user and group permissions, and for accessing tenant-specific settings. if you wish to view okta admin portal, you can find the link on the admin site page.
the tenant activity history tab in the okta admin portal now includes a network graph showing which okta tenants are using the most network bandwidth. to see this graph, on the tenant activity history page, click tenants to expand the view, select the network graph option, and refresh the page.
the okta admin portal is updated with new group resources to reflect the new tenant-level control provided by okta service accounts. resources include ad groups, ad groups that have okta license enabled for inclusion in collections, ad groups that can see okta collections, and okta groups that are available on the okta admin portal. this feature is new to release 5.1. okta service accounts are used to provide administrative rights at the tenant level.
